Forging Mosaic Damascus - Single DVD

I had the opportunity to spend the day with Chad Nichols and watch as he demonstrated how to forge weld mosaic damascus. This DVD covers the steps involved in making mosaic bolsters, and the same principles shown here can be applied while forging mosaic barstock.


The DVD covers:

   *  An explanation of the mosaic process

   *  How to build and prepare a can for forging

   *  An explanation of the tools involved as they are being used

   *  How to make the first weld and draw it out

   *  Cleaning up the bar and preparing for additional welds

   *  And finishing out the bar


In addition to the geometric mosaic pattern that is created in this DVD, Chad also explains and demonstrates how to prepare a Spider Web mosaic can.
